57 days away

I leave for Africa in 57 days. Dude it is coming fast. I sent out a facebook message to alot of my friends. Hopefully yall will check this thang out!! I pray as you read through my blog that you will begin to pray for not only me but for the team that is preparing to go to Zambia. I myself do not know any one on the trip. This excites me to the core!! I look forward to getting to know other guys and gals who love the King of all kings and Lord of all Lords!!

Hopefully tomorrow my support letter will be up and will give you detailed information on what you can pray for, what exactly i will be doing in Zambia and where to send financial support. I appreciate all of your prayers thus far and will continue to keep you informed as the days approach for my departure and while I am serving in Africa.

  1. Just got home from the RED concert...been praying for you a lot lately. Looking forward to you coming to discuss this call from God with South Pointe Church. Enjoy your Spring Break....read my son, read. I know you are behind like me. Not "a behind" like me, but "behind" like me. Read, read, read.....may the Spirit of the Lord be in your heart and on your tongue.....T-racer

  2. Ross, we are so excited about you following the vision God's given you to serve. You have always been an awesome man of God and I really can't wait to hear about the amazing things He is going to do through you in some of the most difficult situations in the world. You are so capable through Him and He is going to bless your surrendered heart! We love you buddy!

  3. Hey bro, thanks for sharing your blog with me. I am truly excited to hear how God is going to use you to reach the "ends of the earth?" In the midst of economic crisis, escalating global violence, and extreme poverty it is time the Church engages injustice, brings aid to the victimized, and truly displays love towards humanity. Words cannot express how grateful I am for people such as you, people who are willing to be a voice for the voiceless.

Oh yeah, how is learning the guitar going?

  4. Ross-

I am so glad God has truly called you to take on this mission. It was never a doubt in my mind that God would use you for great things. I agree with you, you do have a rescuer personality. I will be praying for you as you embark on your mission.
