Back to Village Life

Wow!! Its already going fast. We have a little over a month left for our training. It has truly been a blessing to learn from some great people.

Well tomorrow morning we leave at 8 am for the Bush (remote village). This time around we will be staying in tents next to a school. Our ministry will consist of serving the villagers by helping them in their fields or around their houses. We will also be helping with a Christian Leadership Conference. I can't tell yall enough how big of an opportunity this is for our team. God has truly favored us in our journey thus far, but to bring this opportunity is a once in a lifetime chance for some.

The reason this opportunity is so big is because we will be staying next to Chief Niawa in the Niawa Kingdom. This is perhaps the first time in history for this kingdom that we get to share the gospel to the leaders in the Niawa Kingdom. Attendees at the conference will consist of all the village Headmen of the Kingdom. There will be hundreds of men from all over Zambia at this conference. No other Missionary group with Overland has had this kind of opportunity.

We will be helping at the conference and building relationships with all the headmen and the chief. We will get one on one time with the headmen to share our stories and life together. We will also be holding evangelistic meetings every night at the conference and villages.

I can't stress enough how much we need all of your prayers. Pray that God would use each of us to impact the lives of the headmen, chief, and all we come into contact with. That Jesus living inside of us would shine through to them. Pray and give thanks to God for the victory we have in Jesus. This same victory is what we want to share with all we come in contact with. I love you all and thank you all for your prayers and encouragement. Yall rock!!
